Gene-Drug Correlation Data

Row 1: Drug NSC number, mechanisms of action, and name
Rows 2 - 1416 Gene-drug Pearson correlation coefficients. (A positive correlation means that the drug tends to be more active in the SRB assay in cells that expression larger amounts of the gene.)
Column 1: Gene name
Column 2-119 Gene-drug Pearson correlation coefficients. (A positive correlation means that the drug tends to be more active in the SRB assay in cells that expression larger amounts of the gene.)

The AT-matrix was obtained from the other matrices here as follows:

1. 416 x 60 matrix was created by union of the 1,375-gene and 41-"molecular target" matrices.

2. Row and column means were subtracted from each element in the 1,416 x 60 matrix and the 118 x 60 drug matrix.

3. Each element in the AT-matrix was then obtained as the Pearson correlation coefficient of the corresponding row of the 118 x 60 matrix and column of the transpose of the 1,416 x 60 matrix. If the value for a cell line in either matrix was missing, the correlation coefficient was calculated with that cell line omitted.
